Summary Of Myriah's Burnout
1. In the story about Myriah, some of those potential symptoms of burnout include: the work-load, her drop in quality of work, signs of weight loss, and being late. While, her responsibility may be to her clients and those she supervises, but, I believe her work load is responsible for her inability to spend quality time with each individual. Myriah’s supervisor needs to spread out the work load so other senior co-workers can learn more responsibility, and it will help relieve some of the stress on Myriah. Likewise, one of those symptoms of a burn-out is weight loss, so when Mr. Henderson had the meeting with her, he noticed how thin she looked. In my opinion, I believe Myriah’s boss also failed her, because he should have been checking up

    The definition of burnout in a work sense it refers to a state of overwhelming feeling, emotional listlessness, and depression because prolong levels of high stress (Scott, 2010) this is usually work-related or in life demands.
