She first presented on housing sustainability. We went over mortgage basics. This way we were able to learn the basics of what is all in your mortgage and what you need to know when applying for a mortgage. I really loved how she emphasized that we should use our budget as a guide. It really went hand in hand with what Loryn had taught right before. Once we learned the mortgage basics we were taught how the mortgage sustainability worksheet goes. Ellie did a wonderful job at explaining this work sheet, especially for those in the class that had never seen it before. We also were able to go over debt, mortgage information and ratios, and also interest. These were a part of the worksheet, so we just briefly covered these topics as we filled out the work sheet. She asked what went well, what people like the most throughout the day, and asked if anyone had any addition questions. It was done in a very professional…

With this position, I was able to help students prepare for their interviews and to eventually, land their dream jobs. I received students' cover letters and resumes and tailored specific questions for them, making the interview experience as real as possible. I taught students how to market themselves since interviews are an opportunity to sell yourself to the employer. After our interviews, I noticed that students felt much more confident and appreciated this opportunity offered by the Career Center. Previously, I had another internship with the National Council on Disability at the Republic of Panama in the Public Relations department. I assisted the department with press releases and created a marketing plan, which goal was to include people with disabilities in society. I learned how to work under pressure and how to reach goals with my team. As a member of these organizations and with my internships, I have enhanced my communication skills, my ability to work in teams, and ...(no se que mas poner aqui)…
