This theme can be found through the several literary devices scattered among the song lyrics, such as the verse “You have invented a new kind of stupid/A damage you can never undo kind of stupid/An open all the cages in the zoo kind of stupid/Truly, you didn’t think this through? Kind of stupid.” This verse not only uses multiple metaphors, but uses repetition to emphasize the “kind of stupid.”This verse helps you understand that Alexander has done something wrong.
