When a business does not deal with certain material then that company will need to go out and purchase products that will help in the new business endeavors (Yahoo, 2014).In this case Kudler fine foods will be attempting to establish an in-house photo studio. The photo studio could be in one place within the store or it can be multiple places depending what is being advertised at the time (Yahoo, 2014). To add a photo studio the company would need equipment such as plywood, nails, hammer, paint, ladder to construct the studio. Once the studio is built then the props would need to be made and added to the studio (Yahoo, 2014).
However; if Kudler fine foods decided to use what is already in the store then it would only need to rope off certain areas during certain times during the day and set up for its commercial or schedule to do the commercial before opening, during regular business hours or after closing of the store (Yahoo, 2014). The additional equipment that will be needed if Kudler decides to build a photo studio within in the store or use what is already there and just use different displays will be as follows: the store will need to purchase a camera with film or with a memory card and a tripod

Overall, I think that Kudler Fine Foods have a pretty good system set up in terms of operations and marketing. Advertising is handled by the owner, Kathy Kudler, and the ads are synchronous for all stores. The accounting of goods sold are recorded and reported by cash registers that reports what is sold, how much is sold, the price, taxes, etc. and are all sent to their accounting system. The inventory system can be improved by having a computerized system to account for what is being sold and what needs to be restocked. The system currently in place helps to keep down excessive amounts of items stocked and not run out of items more than three times per year.…

Kudler Fine Foods has a fairly flat organization structure. Each area of the store has employees who specialize in their area; additionally there is support staff for stocking, checking, and customer service. The flat structure simply allows for communication continuity. The communication of sales, trends or lack of sales and trends help guides the firm’s strategic planning initiatives. The less management structure nurtures an environment that promotes an organizational culture of creativeness and ideas for the specialty foods within the firm. Direct contact from the specialist to the owner cuts out the extra layer of people, whom could decrease the differentiation via lack of specialty knowledge of the products. The owner has a small high level management team; the owner depends on the area specialist to be constructively involved with the success of the…
