about the author
Mike W. Peng is the Provost’s Distinguished Professor of Global Strategy at the University of Texas at Dallas. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Winona State University, Minnesota, and a PhD degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. Prior to joining UT Dallas, Professor Peng had been on the faculty at the Ohio State University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and University of Hawaii. In addition, he has held visiting or courtesy appointments in Australia (University of Sydney and Queensland University of Technology), Britain (University of Nottingham), China (Xi’an Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business), Denmark (Copenhagen Business School), Hong Kong (Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and University of Hong Kong), Vietnam (Foreign Trade University), and the United States (University of Memphis, University of Michigan, Seattle Pacific University, and Western Washington University).
