In this selection from Stolen Harvest, Shiva discusses the ways the global food markets are destroying the local food cultures and economies. In particular, she argues soybeans based oils and processed foods are posing a serious risk to our health. In fact, the trypsin inhibitors contained in the soybean damage the pancreatic processes by facilitating the cancer insurgence.
