STATEMENT OF PURPOSE FOR AUTOMOTIVE ENGINEERING
What can’t be achieved by the person who is determined? This has been the motto of my life since my childhood. I do believe that if one sets one’s goal high and tends to endeavor inflexible then one’s feet will definitely carry to one’s destination no matter what. It is this belief that has propelled me throughout my academic career in all my accomplishments till today and fuels my passion to study further. My strong and determined will and fervor is the driving force that escorts me to all my achievements till date.

I was 14 when I first came across this awesome quote by the great G B Shaw. I can say that this was the figment that ingrained my liking toward engineering, considering it went hand in glove with my inquisitive attitude. After completing my high school, I felt that Engineering would be the area, which would give me the opportunity to learn and explore how the fundamentals of science are applied to create technology for practical and real purposes. Moreover, my innate strengths have always been the power of imagination and creative abilities; which made me take up a discipline that would allow me to channel them in the best possible way. We are in an era of technological and global changes, where boundaries are disappearing fast and the greatest challenge tomorrow holds for us is to administer continuity of change. To stuff my curiosity and to accomplish my ambitions I have determined to pursue a master’s program in Automotive Engineering. I would like to get involved in research work in this area. Although there is a boundless ambit for research in this area, the scope for research in India is limited. The need for exposure to a vast environment has aided me to seek an opportunity to study in the United States.
