Space Jam: The Muggsy Bogues Career
During the first round of the 1995 NBA playoffs, the Charlotte Hornets were down by one point against the Chicago Bulls with seconds left on the clock. Once Muggsy Bogues received the ball, Michael Jordan backed off him on defence and stated, “Shoot it, you f’ing midget.” Bogues’s shot was nowhere near the basket and the Charlotte Hornets were eliminated from the NBA playoffs. The following year, Muggsy Bogues announced his retirement and his coach believed that one play ruined his whole career since his jumpshot never recovered. Not to mention, Muggsy Bogues stars in Michael Jordan’s movie. This appears to be unusual for Bogues to play a role in Michael Jordan’s movie, even though Jordan possibly ruined Bogues career. After Michael discovered the horrifying news about his father, he announced his retirement to follow his father’s footsteps and become a baseball player. On the other hand, Mr. Swackhammer forces the Nerdlucks to threaten and challenge the Looney Tunes to win their freedom. Once the Looney Tunes accept their request, the Nerdlucks attend the NBA game to attempt to steal the athlete’s skills. Each Nerdluck transform into a ghostly slime and swipe through the players snatching their skills. As a matter of fact, the NBA players who were victimized from the Nerdlucks were Charles Barkley, Muggsy Bogues, Shawn Bradley, Larry Johnson, and Patrick Ewing. Each athlete’s skills were placed into a basketball, having said that, after the Nerdlucks touched the ball, they mutated into enormous monsters, eventually altering the Nerdlucks into the MonStars. Bugs Bunny knew it was not physically possible to defeat the MonStars so he decided to search for help. Meanwhile, Michael Jordan was minding his own business playing a game of golf with a few of his friends. As soon as it was Michael’s turn, he swung perfectly, as he thought. As the ball hit the ground, it slowing glided across the grass as Bugs Bunny, who is underground with a ball magnet, forced the golf ball to roll into the hole. Once Michael reaches in the hole to grab the ball, Bugs Bunny instantly grabs and pulls Michael down

Lebron has made some excellent highlights in his career so far, but as of now MJ has created more tremendous ones. One of the most memorable was “The Flu Game.” With a 103 fever and battling the flu, Jordan managed to score 38 points and earn the win in Game 5 of the 1997 Finals. Jordan could barely keep himself standing upright, in one instance he leaned on Scottie Pippen walking to the bench. In the 1988 NBA dunk contest, Jordan jumped from the free-throw line and dunked the ball. He soared through the air, and the fans went bonkers. This dunk cannot be performed by many athletes of today’s world. He started a trend that may never stop. Probably the most memorable was “The Clincher.” Down 86-85 in Game 6 of the Finals, Jordan had the ball with 5.7 seconds. He crossed over, and made the defender fall to his knees. He shot it, and it was all net. That shot clinched his 6th NBA Final ring. Lebron has made some tremendous highlights but nothing compares to these historic highlights from the greatest ever, Air…

Before Marvin’s game his dad, Mr. Whalen, asked Marvin if he wanted a ride down to the school and Marvin then replied with “No. Thanks, Dad, but no. It’ll do me good to run down there.” (435) This act shows how Marvin is not lazy and knows how to prepare for the game. In addition to warming up he rests, he also knows what to eat and how much. Mrs. Whalen was nervous that her husband, Mr. Whalen, would end up getting caught in the excitement of the game. He promised her that he wouldn’t. When they got to the game, Mr. Whalen eyed the big center before the game started. During the game the big center would not stop fouling Marvin and, “again the big center fouled Marvin.” (439) This act could cause Marvin to get seriously injured, but instead he ignores it and takes his shots. The big center’s dad was speaking harshly about Marvin and saying Marvin should get called instead of his son, Guido. Ironically Mr. Whalen, “who talked long and seriously to Marvin about sportsmanship,” (433) ends up getting into a brawl at one of Marvin’s basketball game over this. On the surface this may seem true, but upon a second glance this is obviously wrong. First of all, Jordan was not just a talented offensive player; he won the defensive player of the year award and was on the All NBA Defensive first team nine times (Basketball). Shooting and defense are Jordan’s two best attributes. People who think LeBron is better than Jordan might say that Jordan may be a better shooter than LeBron, but he could never have been the all around player that LeBron is. They might say Jordan was a ball hog who only shot the ball and couldn’t be a floor general like LeBron. Could Michael Jordan really have piled up triple doubles (three stats with double digit units) like LeBron does? Well let 's take a look at that. In March of 1989 John Paxson was injured, so Doug Collins moved Michael Jordan to the point guard position even though he was a shooting guard (Knicks). In Michael’s first game as a point guard, he dished out 15 assists in a blowout win over the Seattle Supersonics (Knicks). In his next game, Michael recorded a triple double with 21 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists in another blowout of the Indiana Pacers (Knicks). On March 25, Michael began a run of 10 triple doubles in 11 games, including 7 straight before missing one against the Pistons where he had 40 points, 11 assists, and 7 rebounds (Knicks). He would finish the season with 15 triple doubles (NBA). Michael Jordan…
