The Bulls continued their dominance in the 1991-92 season, finishing with a 67-15 record. Jordan won his third MVP averaging 30.1ppg, 6.4rpg and 6.1apg on 52.0% accuracy. The bulls defeated the Knicks and the Cavaliers to go to the NBA Finals where they met Clyde Drexler and the Portland Trailblazers. The Bulls won in six games with Jordan having his second Finals MVP. In the 1992-93 season, MJ’s MVP streak had been broken at last by, his friend, Charles Barkley. Jordan averaged 32.6ppg, 6.7rpg and 5.5apg. In the NBA finals the Bulls met Charles Barkley and the Phoenix Suns. The Bulls won with a game winning shot by John Paxon and a last second block by Horace Grant. Once again Jordan won the finals MVP and became the first player to get three consecutive Finals MVP. For Jordan’s 8th season, the 1995-96 season Jordan decided to re-join the NBA and wore the number 45 as 23 had been retired in his honour following his retirement. He decided to re-wear number 23 as it felt weird, so he got fined $10 000 for wearing a different number without telling the NBA and $4 000 for wearing different shoes.
