Sorority Or Fraternity

Being a member of a sorority or fraternity can negatively impact your grades. Students that are members of a greek organization spend their average week going out more than once or twice, versus a student not associated with a greek house. A study done at Georgia College and State University by students doing a project having to do with finding the correlation between being a greek member and their GPA showed that, “Students not in a sorority or fraternity go out on an average 1 to 2 nights a week”, while students that are affiliated in a greek house “...go out on an average 3 to 4 nights a week” (Salleras).
