Sophia In The Book The Magician's Nephew
The character that I will add to the book “The Magician’s Nephew” would be named Sophia. Her role in the book would the leader she would know what to do when something goes wrong and she would be a great friend by always making you smile when you are sad. Sophia would be the one person that would stay positive when everything goes wrong, even when everyone just want to give up she would stay something inspiring that make everyone ready to fight and not be scared. She would be joking around but when it is time to fight she would transform into a great warrior. The one thing that people would find surprising about her is that she does not act like a leader or a positive person to anyone that the only people she is like that is the people she

In The Woman in Fairy Tales, Marie-Louise von Franz studies the feminine representations in fairy tales. She bases her study on collective symbols assumed to be present in these stories to shed light on the various facets of the anima. This book points at the fact that even if fairy tales are generally seen as a form of distraction, these stories have also a psychological function which expresses the psychic processes of the collective unconscious. This is of a capital interest to analyze the instrumentalization of the princesses in the advertising campaigns.…

In A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shakespeare is telling the readers that, love needs no reason to exist; it defies logic and ignores all circumstances. This compelling message is very thoroughly communicated with the connection of the fantasy world and reality. The connection occurs in a forest, where each character of significance is, at one point, present. Here, the characters experience unforeseen events, as a result of the debatable use of magic, from those in power. However, despite the extreme unusualness and complications, the characters challenge the circumstances, and persist in loving the one they feel closest to. In this play, this situation is best represented by three significant relationships. The first exists between a lover and her hater, the next involves a young and rebellious couple, and the last concerns an ill-fated mechanical and the queen of the fairies.…

My characters Rebecca Nurse and Corey Giles, relate to the other characters in the book because they were two of the innocent people that got accused. Corey Giles really didn't get accused but they killed him because he would give the names of people who were called witches. He refused to lie on the others people for his innocents. Rebecca Nurse on the other hand was accused of witchcraft. This little old lady was accused, can you believe that. She also refused to accused others that of witchcraft. She was a holy person, she believed that she was going to die and go to God. The others that had put up with this was already in the devils pit.…

Michael Vey was the main character in a book I read called “Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25” that I enjoyed a lot. The book tells a story of a boy who lives with his mother in Idaho. He has a very special power, the ability to shock people. But, he uses it for good by fighting evil. From zapping three bullies at school to “the rise of the Electroclan”. The main character, Michael, would be a good role model for seventh grade students because he is smart, curious and cautious.…

The Scarlet Letter Throughout The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne continually uses witchcraft and the devil as a theme. Hester Prynne, the main character, emerges from a prison in the first few pages of the book. So from the very beginning, it is known that she has committed a great sin of some kind. Many other characters other than Hester also have a connection with the dark side. It is this association with the devil that eventually brings about the demise of one of the major characters. Although most of the characters are trying to repent during this story, there is still a link between them and the devil throughout the story.…

“The Magician’s Nephew” by Clive Staples Lewis, or C. S. Lewis as he is more well-known, is a beautiful tale describing the birth of a land that many have come to know and love, the land of Narnia. The first book in the series, but sixth to be published, didn’t include beloved characters such as Lucy and Edmund but instead hinted towards the future endeavors that would be experienced in Narnia and the surrounding countries. Reading this book as a child, the individual is instantly enthralled by the mystery that lies in the neighborhood of Digory and Polly, two unlikely friends. Their adventurous nature makes for an enjoyable read, even when the adventure is merely Polly’s smugglers’ cave and beyond. But behind the excitement and wanderlust hides a parallel world. To…
