There are two gangs called Socs and Greaser and they face many problems, what are some of their problems? The Socs and Greasers are characters in a book called the outsiders by S.E Hinton, and they are enemies thought the book. So what problems do they face, the problems they face are family or family history, their self, and each other.
First, how their family or family history is one of their problems. It s a problem for a Soc named Bob. It is a problem for him because all he wants his parent to say no to him and get mad at him. For example, “He kept trying to make some one to say ‘NO’ and they never did,” (S.E. page 116) this proves that his parent was a problem because if they did not let him do whatever he wanted and said no he would not have died. Another example of family of family or family history is from the greasers with Johnny. He has abusive parent how do not really care about him and because of that he felt like the gang was his only family. It is problem with Bob again and if did not do the following action his and other's lives would be better. He beats up Grasers with some gang members and even jumps Johnny. Since he jumped Johnny he carried a knife with him just in case he gets gets jumped again, and once again he gets jumped and stabs Bob. It is a problem for the Greaser because of Dally, Soda and Darry. It is a problem for Dally died on purpose because Johnny died so he tries to die and succeeds.
