HOUSE : E

GROUP : 10

INTRODUCTION:

Our house was allotted G.S. Road and Khanapara Branch to visit SME units whose accounts were maintained by these Branches. Subsequently we reported to the RMME and Branch Manager of the G.S. Road and Khanapara Branch respectively and they guided us by asking us to go through the files of the units we planned to visit so that we are better placed while interacting with the key persons and also while recording our observations as per the standard questionnaire.

OBJECTIVE:

This novel idea aims at providing a first-hand exposure to all the budding officers on what it is like to visit a SME unit thus getting them ready for handling important assignments in the future. Not only that, the face-to-face interaction with these SME units would enable the young officers to gain knowledge about the ground realities and also make them learn the way of functioning of these units. From business point of view, it will help the Bank to obtain frank feedback regarding the existing facilities, products and service of the Bank and also what are their expectations from SBI. This will help us to prepare future strategies thereby increasing our SME customer base.

It also provided us an opportunity to market our new products and services to the SME units like Cash Pick Up facility, Power Current Accounts, SME products, Alternate Channels, Green Channel etc.

UNITS COVERED UNDER G.S.ROAD BRANCH :
