EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This is a proposal of ‘Sing K Box’, a karaoke mobile application project. We would like to provide an application platform for users to enjoy karaoke at anywhere and anytime through portable devices.
The proposal introduces the features of the application and feasibility analysis.

1. INTRODUCTION
We observe a trend of singing context on TV shows which drawn public attentions towards karaoke and pop music culture. However, people in this modern society are usually under a busy routine. It’s difficult for them to gather at a time to sing in the karaoke room.

‘Sing K Box’ is a karaoke application and approximately 20 songs for the first released version, including Asian and Western music for players to choose.
There are mainly six functions in the mobile application.

‘Sing’ Function:
Player can choose a song and record it with their phone. Then the application will analyze it and give the record a score. Players can choose to upload on the application so that other players can check it and also share to the linked Facebook account.
‘Download’ Function:
Player can choose a song and Download it in their phone. They can do the payment through PayPal if they link the account and credit card information.
‘Battle’ Function (Multi-player):
Player can choose a competitor form the list and send a battle request. The application will compare the scores between two players then decide a winner of the game.
‘Ranking’ Function: base on the scores, the “Ranking” page will displaying ranking list of contest also jumping to user’s rank for them check their rank easily.
‘Voting’ Function:
All user of the application can vote the songs posted. The “Voting” page will display ranking list by voting.
‘Profile’ Function:
“Profile” page displaying users profile and for users to edit. Also the achievements, for example battles they won and the highest rank have got.
