ABC Learning was established in Brisbane 1988, and operated 18 centres by 1997, by 2006 it owned 800 centres providing roughly 20 per cent of long day care places across Australia (Rush & Downie 2006).). This was the result of an unsustainable level of secured and unsecured debt, a loss of control over cash flow resulting from unprofitable operations and an aggressive acquisitions policy, as a consequence Receivers and Managers were appointed by the principal creditors (Mcgrath,Nicol, 2016). (Pidd, 2003) states the model is representation of the part of reality which the people wish to understand, change, manage, and control it. Simulation is used to know the behavior of the real system. This module was very informative. The module provided detail information in regards to the history and the organizations of the courts. Looking back on the primitive days leading up to modern day court system the same elements still exist. The best module I liked was the courtroom rules. In this module, it showed the key player and their roles. Now I have a better understand as to what each duty is. I learned the difference between grand jury and trial jury. Grand jury, may consist of up to 23 jurors, and serve for a particular period and may serve on multiple juries at one time. They handle cases that are high-profile. They are able…

In the second learning exercise there is a problem with unhappy staff members on your unit. They are displeased with how requests for days off are being handled and they want changes to be made. On the committee you have formed there are four LVNs, three CNAs, and five RNs so all shifts are represented. Since all shifts are signified here I do not believe more members need to be added at this time. After three meetings and the committee getting no where this fourth meeting needs to serve a purpose in getting everyone to the end goal, which is making staff members satisfied with how days off are handled. There are definitely more task members in this group then there are team-building members. To me this is a problem because task members really…

This study provided some evidence that an exploratory (constructivist) simulation experience could be more effective in altering learners' misconceptions than a confirmatory simulation experience. Some evidence was obtained consistent with the view that providing learners with overly detailed procedural instructions to solve problems in a simulated environment could be deleterious to conceptual change. Additionally, the results of this study suggest that the epistemological beliefs of learners interact with the type of learning environment in determining achievement. Students with greater epistemological sophistication did better in the exploratory simulation environment while students with less sophisticated beliefs about knowledge and learning…
