As humans we experience many emotions, love and hate being some of the most intense. Christianity, one of the most prevalent religions in our society, praises love as one of its virtues. Our society looks at these two terms as having completely opposite meanings due to the way they are used in every day conversations. The popularity of the word love and hate sometimes cloud their true meanings making it hard to truly see their similarities and differences. Love and hate are similar characteristics, including being able to reach a person emotionally and physically, but are different in the sense of how they reach the same person and how it affects them. The world runs around relationships, social, business, and romantic. Without love and hate this would be impossible. Both of these terms are key in making, ending, and deciding in what relationships to partake. Since, love and hate both affect people in an emotional way they have a great similarity. Being that relationships are based mostly off of these two terms, it becomes clear to us that they affect us in an intimate and deep emotional sense.
