Purpose

The new control is iSign and is equivalent to "CIC Control" used in .

A Siebel Signature Capture control can be used by customers allowing them to configure custom views that would enable signature capture as part of their business processes. To legally use the Siebel Signature Capture control in your application, you must purchase Siebel Signature Capture license for each user of the control.

If you decide to implement the Siebel Signature Capture control, please contact your Siebel product representative to make appropriate licensing arrangements.

Prior to using any custom 3rd party ActiveX control within the Siebel application, the customer must contact the ActiveX control vendor to ensure all valid licenses have been acquired to legally use the controls. Doing so is solely the customers responsibility.

The purpose of this document is to provide guidelines and illustrated examples for using the Siebel Signature Control object in Siebel Business Applications 8.1.1 and higher. The sample configuration and scripts provided in this document are examples and should not be considered as complete code or implementation strategy.
