Using performance enhancing drugs to help become more successful at a sport unfair to others who participate and don't use this harmful drug. Playing sports is about using your natural ability and gift but by using this drug it defeats the purpose of being naturally good at something. Steroids and other similar drugs are very harmful and can negatively affect you in the long run. Many people look up to these amazing players but kids and fans should not be influenced by the poor choices they have made. For these reasons major league baseball banned the use of steroids in 1991. For example Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds, former professional baseball players, allegedly used steroids to enhance their performance in their earlier baseball career.

These are only a few of the damaging outcomes of using this drug. People who look up to these players and consider them role models might be influenced to make the same bad choices. Considering that since the use of steroids was banned in 1991 one would think that it's not right for them to be in the major league hall of fame whatsoever because they are breaking a major rule. Just because their stats are off the charts and their abilities and talent are incredible no is taking into consideration that one reason why they are so good at what they do is because they are using steroids. Two of the major reasons why people use steroids is to build muscle and improve their skills which proves why they are exceptionally amazing at what they do.
