Scope Of Practice In Nursing

This discussion board is to discuss the nurse’s scope of practice defined by the American Nurses Association and the state of Pennsylvania. The purpose of this posting is to discuss the nurses scope of practice and the importance of a nurse to be familiar with their own nurse practice act.

The ANA has developed standards of practice for the profession of nursing. They are assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation and evaluation.
