Introduction
It is critical that any new project be kept on a schedule and have time frames and milestones along the way. Without a properly executed schedule the likelihood of failure rises exponentially. Schedules provide not only the project team a common operational picture but they are also used to inform sponsors and stakeholders. The main purpose of the Schedule Management Plan is to layout which approach the project team will utilize. Additional items in this plan will explain how the project team plans on monitoring the project schedule and manages changes.

The project manager will assure items are being reviewed and changes are passed forward. Proper communication is critical during this phase to prevent misinformation getting passed among the team.

Schedule Changes and Thresholds
Any schedule changes will be addressed on a case by case basis. The project Manager will be responsible for making sure that the right people are informed. It will be important that L.A.W. does not make any schedule changes that have a negative impact on quality or efficiency. Schedule changes should not be made to compensate for craftsmanship.

Scope Change
Any changes in the project scope are previously addressed in the Scope Management Plan which is included in the overall Project Management Plan document.

Signatures below represent an agreement between the project sponsor(s), stakeholders, and project manager that all parties have read, understood and agreed on the schedule management plan for the LAW prototype bicycle.
