The effect is a rippling one where everything in the food chain is suffering. Man has tried to combat global warming by trying to predict when or where the next natural disasters (hurricanes, storms, tsunamis, floods, droughts and others) will occur. But though at times we know and we try to put measures in place, we are still unaware of the magnitude of effect it would have on us and the environment, as well as, our predictive machines sometimes fail to give early…

If you don’t know what Global warming is it is the increase in the earth’s average temperature due to the release of several greenhouse gases into the atmosphere by humans. Global warming is affecting many different parts of the world and in turn causes a cause and effect. Glaciers are melting which is causing the sea level to rise. When the sea level rises it causes damage to people living in low lying areas, and damages to plants by covering them which causes them to die. Which in turn causes animals to lose their main source of food, and causes us humans to lose our two main sources of food. If we don’t do something about global warming everything we take for granted might disappear.…

Philosophy has made progress through the development of specialized methods that fragment the knowledge that philosophy eternally seeks. Johann seeks to elaborate on the nature of philosophical inquiry through the method of Pragmatism, more specifically Ontological Pragmatism. This method will measure the truth of philosophical inquiry through what it leads to in experience or practice. Inquiry can be either scientific or philosophical, depending on what it questions. Scientific inquiry questions the world outside man, while philosophical questions the world inside man. Philosophical inquiry, though implicitly stated, can be summed up to this statement: It is the transcendence of common knowledge through the entire involvement of the other through discourse and sharing of common experiences with the hope of giving birth to new knowledge through shared reflection. What is meant by this is simple, philosophical inquiry involves another person in order for it to occur. There must be a tension between one and another, a question must be asked regarding the common knowledge that in which is comfortable to one or the other.…
