Save Earth, Save Life...Stop Global Warming
The group of young and and socially concerned citizens have got together to begin the mission of saving earth, saving Human life of generations ahead by contributing to reduce the global Warming. Global Warming is not a small or localized environmental problem. The effects and consequences could be horrific. Temperature changes, alteration in rainfall patterns , and an increased frequency of cyclonic activity are occurring and being measured around the world. As a result of ongoing climate change, the climate of India has become increasingly volatile over the past several decades. It has melted the polar ice caps, raised the level of the oceans and flooded the earth's great cities. It is destroying and changing our ecosystem on which the whole natural habitat is depended and cause many traditional inhabitants to leave their inhabitants. This may also cause extinction of species. We call it a Green Revolution. The green revolution awareness program is about to Start through a unique outdoor exploration. Mr Prashant Kothari, an energetic youth who is consultant for CSR projects , thought a lot about the current burning issue and came up with the brilliant concept of Driving The Pan India Activity, which would involve everyone who wants to contribute in saving our lives. This is going to be a biggest event in India, with nonstop journey to 150 Indian cities covering more than 20,000Km in 300 days. The awareness and measures to help save the nature will be spread in 1000 schools, 150 colleges, 150 collector offices, in societies, to mayor and news paper offices. Global warming has caused the earth to get hotter, drastic change in weather patterns, increased sea levels, the death of a specific species of plant and animals whilst at the same time encouraging the overpopulation of another. The effect is a rippling one where everything in the food chain is suffering. Man has tried to combat global warming by trying to predict when or where the next natural disasters (hurricanes, storms, tsunamis, floods, droughts and others) will occur. But though at times we know and we try to put measures in place, we are still unaware of the magnitude of effect it would have on us and the environment, as well as, our predictive machines sometimes fail to give early…

Global warming is the increase of average world temperatures as a result of what is known as the greenhouse effect. Global warming started long before the 'Industrial Revolution'. It began 18,000 years ago as the earth started warming its way out of the Pleistocene Ice Age. Second, the waters are getting warmer so there is going to be more hurricanes.Third, There is going to be more chances of heat waves and droughts.Fourth, there's going to be Economic consequences. For example, if there is a big hurricane, the hurricane damages are going to cost money, so if there is chance of more hurricanes, then there is going to be more damages that cost money. Fifth, the polar ice caps are melting, in which the sea levels are rising, and the polar ice caps are white so in which reclect the sunlight back into to space and cooling the earth.Sixth, there is going to be more floods, which is one of the most dangererous harzards to human settlements.Seventh, There is and are going to be more forest fires. n 2007, more than 3,000 fires brought destruction to Southeastern Europe thanks to a long summer that created arid and parched conditions – a situation that would become normal as a consequence of the greenhouse effect.Eighth, there is going to be more destructive storms. The force of an hurricane has increased 50% in the last 30 years.Nineth, there is going to be more death because of smog.smog-related deaths predicted to rise by “about 4.5 percent from the 1990s to the 2050s,”…

If we fail to control global warming, it can cause climate catastrophies such as mega droughts, wildfires, decimated forests, etc. It could also have a negative impact on human services since natural disasters are a huge burden on the man power and financial resources on many service agencies. We could also suffer from a tremendous loss of life for individuals throughout the world.…

Because of the climate change, the earth is in danger. People don’t realize that the things they use or do every day are hurting the earth and living things. Nature.org says, “…one-fourth of Earth’s species will be headed for extinction by 2050 if the warming trend continues at its current rate…” Because the temperature is increasing, ice is melting. Because ice is melting, sea levels are rising. Higher temperatures don’t only melt ice but evaporates the moisture in the air. Evaporation will take away all of the land’s water leaving it as dry as a desert. With a drought now in progress, it will make it harder to find water and support agriculture.…

The Global Warming is an increase of the average temperature of the terrestrial surface, considered as a symptom and a consequence of the climate change. The global warming of the Earth is already a fact that produced, and it will produce, serious consequences in the climate, the atmosphere and the biodiversity: increase of the average temperature of the Earth, decrease of the caps of ice at the Poles, increase of the level of the sea, increase of the desertification, disappearance of flora and fauna in ecosystems, shortage…

Firstly, global warming involves economics aspect. World economic in recently decade had great advance. Our lives are improved better. However, several industries play a key part in economic such as metallurgy, building industry, chemical industry or industries burn fossil fuel, coal, natural gas, etc are the main source of air pollution. It produces a large amount of carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide which are the main component of greenhouse gases (factor causes global warming). On the contrary, global warming also affects economic. Climate change and global warming can bring a change in gross world product; it may be plus or minus a few percent. But, even small changes in gross world product can bring about comparatively large changes in national economies. The most directly affected industry is the insurance industry. A 2004 report by the Association of British Insurers noted that changing weather increases risks for households and property by 2-4% per year and the claims for storm and flood compensations in the UK had increased twofold over the period 1998-2003, weighing against the past five years. As a…

It's nearly impossible to overstate the threat of climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions are rising more rapidly than predicted and consequently the world is warming more quickly. Global warming will have catastrophic effects such as accelerating sea level rise, droughts, floods, storms and heat waves. These will impact some of the world's poorest and most vulnerable people, disrupting food production, and threatening vitally important species, habitats and ecosystems.…

To ‘normal’ people it sounds like all these scientists and researchers are making a fuss about something so trivial. But is global warming really a trivial matter or, are the people unconscious about the danger of global warming. If you are conscious about it, you will see that the world is changing slowly due to global warming. Ice is melting worldwide, animals have moved to higher and cooler places, precipitation has increased and an increase of insects. But if global warming continues like this, it can become a disaster. There are possibilities that parts of the world will go under water, because the sea level rises. Floods and drought will occur more often, less fresh water will be available, due to the melting of the ice caps. Not only that, but animal species will be extinct, like the polar bear. Researcher Bill Fraser showed that the numbers of Adélie penguins on…

These problems will affect people’s life hugely. Therefore, numerous environmental movements are organized by youth caring about conservation of natural resources and areas, global warming, ozone depletion and plenty of other problems, although previous generations took care about completely otherwise concerns.…

Many scientists believe that Global warming will have a massive effect on the climate and weather on our planet. This could happen one of two ways. The first is that an increase in temperature will cause polar ice caps to melt. If the Earth 's major ice caps were to melt, sea level would be raised anywhere from 7-14 meters (Ramanathan, 4). This would result in severe flooding. For example, the entire bottom section of Florida would disappear completely. A second way Global Warming could turn is that a temperature increase will cause evaporation and clouding, which would lower the earth 's temperature and eventually result in an ice age(Ramanathan, 5). If either of these scenarios were to occur, the repercussions would be tragic to the entire planet and everything living on it.…
