Samuel Seium: Achieving A Master's Degree In Counseling
Samuel Seium. All of this information has shaped my career trajectory towards receiving a master’s degree in counseling. When I was younger, I wanted to be a detective or a lawyer, which revolves around helping people that are in need. The values that I gained about work were commitment, effort, and to get an education to receive a stable career. My degree in criminal justice and the recession after finishing undergrad lead me to getting a counseling job at a detention center. This job made me learn more about counseling and made me love the profession so I decided to seek future jobs in counseling after I left the detention center. The MBTI stated that I was a thinker and structured. In counseling, I get to use these skills to help clients
