Sample Emergency Care Plan
I really enjoyed and learned from your post. I think you created an excellent emergency care plan. The IEP covered the most important needs of the student, and I also liked your point about educating his team not just about first aid care and safety, but also in how to provide privacy for the student. I don’t think I would change or add anything on your plan, and if I was Jeff’s mother, I will definitely feel safe to let him on your hands.

You have been hired as a consultant by your town’s emergency management coordinator to help develop emergency action plans. One of the reasons you were selected is your expertise in using the General Behavior Model (GEBMO) to assess risks. Your first task is to assess the hazardous material risks at a local gas station. The station has one 30,000-gallon underground storage tank compartmentalized to hold 10,000 gallons each of the three gasoline grades, and there is one additional 10,000-gallon tank for diesel fuel. The station has four pumps, and each one can deliver all four products. Also on site is a 2,500 sq. ft. concrete block building used for the cashier and retail sales of service station and…

It’s pretty much common sense that without members, there wouldn’t be an Organization. Or there could be one, where there only would be two to five members. But what reform can a group of five members bring, as opposed to what a group of hundreds or maybe thousands of students can? When make the National Organization of Collegiate American Students Needing Help (NOCASH), I would first look for people that share the same interest as me, that would be willing to become members, by putting up posters and giving out fliers that have our mission statements, easy to understand and explained, on it. Then comes the tricky part: Money. Without the funds, it is less likely that we would be able to succeed. With the members we have, we would make membership dues for about 3 to 5 dollars a person, and engage in direct mail solicitation to raise money, though that is less likely to achieve anything.…

In times like today, there are emergencies happening everywhere. Whether the emergency is a life or death situation or just a minor encounter, there are many new technological inventions and innovations under design that can help you in your different times of need. An idea that was newly developed is Meddsy. It is “the next generation first AID & Rescue kit” that can be stored in your car or home ("Smart Emergency Kit"). Another product that is being developed is the Ripple Safety Device. It is a “discreet safety device that connects you to a dedicated 24/7 monitoring team, keeping you safe anywhere in the United States” (Ripple). Both the Meddsy Emergency Kit and the Ripple Safety Device are created differently, however, each of the products…

Having the students document the treatments and file the information is a good way to give Charles more time with injured athletes, but if the students aren’t performing the tasks right then Charles needs to make some changes. He needs to develop a way to revise the documentation before it is filed away. If he doesn’t do so, he could have little evidence to support himself if an athlete takes legal action against him. This goes for any reason to document information. If all his records are hard to read and are filed poorly to the point where he struggles to find what he wants, then when asked for past patient information he may fail to possess adequate information. Charles needs to address legal protection issues and legal requirement issues enforced by OSHA. By changing is system in a way that will allow him to easily and quickly access the needed files, and knowing that they’ll be legible will help him…

Your essay presents your past experience in an emergency room in a manner that is exciting to read and expressive. By prefacing your narrative with a short description of what childhood scars represent to you personally, you give your essay more impact. However, your final paragraph feels a bit verbose; perhaps you could omit either the third or fourth sentence of your last paragraph, as the convey roughly the same message. Alternatively, you could add more information to your body paragraphs to aid in balancing out your essay. I admire your use of descriptive language in your narration and I can see perfectly and envious, young Sarisha vying for her parents' attention. If your memory allows, I believe you should add even more detail to your…

    Self Care Plan

My self-care issue is balancing schoolwork with work, personal life and extra curricular activities. As a junior I have a lot of schoolwork, meaning a lot of assignments, projects, papers, readings and so on due every week. I am also looking for internships before I graduate that will help me get into a good Law school after I graduate, in addition to taking LSAT lessons. I am in a number of school organizations and clubs such as the pre-law club, sociology-criminology club and African Student Organization in which I am the secretary. With all this I still manage to have an on-campus job. To be honest, I have done a good job joggling my responsibilities this semester, but I have been extremely bad in taking care of my health. At the beginning of the semester, I was consistent in going to the gym, eating healthy and keeping in touch with my family. However, that has extremely depreciated. I do not go the gym anymore, I really don’t care what I eat, plus I eat at strange times due to my horrible sleeping schedule. I hardly call my parents or siblings; I just send them text messages a couple times a week to keep in touch or they call me. Also, as the secretary of the African Student Association, I have to help organize our bi-weekly meetings and executive meetings, I have to help organize the events we have and so on. I also have to balance my friends into this mess of an equation. I try to hangout with them at any free time I have, so as not to be seen as a bad friend.…
