Running Argument Essay
Before you read this one thing you should know is that although running can be very beneficial to the human body, not everyone is built the same, thus, not everyone is made to run. With that said, running is a part of many people’s daily lives and most of these people have learned how far they can push themselves without causing too much strain on their bodies. Running is also a way that people find self-achievement and purpose and without it don’t know how to function in their lives, these people are a bit extreme but there are some of them out there. Most people just use it as a way to feel free and a way to exercise and keep themselves in shape. Although running is not meant for everyone, most people can benefit both emotionally and physically, if they maintain an ideal workout.

Now although this one is not so scientific, it is very important. When you run, you become more fit, accomplish new goals, and improve your self-esteem and confidence in general. For many people, running serves as the basis for a more successful personal life by showing them that they are capable of more than they realize (McDougall 78). Completing certain goals, such as, running a mile in a certain time or running a certain distance without stopping, can also boost self confidence among one’s peers and/or fellow athletes. `
Weight control is one of the greatest physical benefits of running. Dieting alone will help with weight loss but this includes a significant amount of muscle. Thus, the body does not get a toned, shapely look. Running is one way to get a healthy looking, slim and toned body. People who run have been shown to attain a better and more sensitive awareness to periods of overeating and wrong food choices (SkinnyMe). They don’t crave the same foods compared to before they started running regularly and will often eat healthier with that next workout in
