Royal Canin Vet & Lifestage Dog Foods
Royal Canin is a range of pet food which is designed for specific dogs and cats taking into account their age, size, lifestyle and breed. The range has been developed in conjunction with universities, vets and animal breeders. Royal Canin is the first company to develop foods for specific breeds of dogs and cats, with 19 specific types of food for different breeds of dog and one for cats. The range also covers different dietary requirements such as weight control and digestive problems.

When creating Royal Canin dog food, only the freshest of ingredients are used. Suppliers are carefully selected and all ingredients are tested for quality prior to manufacture. The meat used in Royal Canin dog food is only used if it is also considered fit for consumption by humans.
The proteins used are highly digestible. Some dog food ranges only have a low rate of digestibility but Royal Canin dog food is certified to be at least 90% digestible, to help prevent undigested protein from settling in the colon and causing health problems.
