Romeo and Juliet are the typical and traditional love fuelled couple their love and story were unprecedented and cannot be considered any other ordinary relationship Shakespeare had blatantly portrayed their love as unimaginable and somewhat obsessive. The duo however endured turbulent times as they had to overcome the difficulties they had got themselves into particularly involving their families who despised each other and wanted nothing to do with each other. The poet Wilfred lord Tennyson gets the moral of his poem the charge of the light bigrde from a charge of British cavalry led by Lord Cardigan against Russian forces during the Battle of Balaclava on 25 October 1854 in the Crimean War .he describes the six hundred courageous men who went into war nor certain of their return.
However war is spoken of a different kind in Wilfred Owens poem Dulce et decorum EST. the poet the poet Wilfred Owen portrays the horrific imagery of war and how worthless it is to die for your country. He describes the soldiers as ‘old beggars’ this gives us an image of how soldiers would look when they go into war and that war ages them.
