1. Purpose. MCI course 0112D, Counseling for Marines, has been published to provide instruction to all Marines assigned billets and duties that require counseling skills. 2. Scope. MCI course 0112D addresses the development of basic counseling techniques and skills, to provide effective counseling to subordinates in accordance with NAVMC 2795 and Marine Corps leadership principles.

3. Applicability. This course is intended for instructional purposes only. It is designed for use primarily by all Marine NCOs, SNCOs, and officers, active and reserve, regardless of MOS. 4. Recommendations. Comments and recommendations on the contents of the course are invited and will aid in subsequent course revisions. Please complete the course evaluation questionnaire at the end of the final examination. Return the questionnaire and the examination booklet to your proctor.
