Background : It was shoot at the western part of America where is a beautifull and attractive grandeur.It is narrated as a story by an Indian called One Stab,a best friend of the Ludlow family. Tired with war and slaughter,Colonel William Ludlow moves to the remote western part of American called Montana with One Stab where they build a ranch.Accompined them are Decker,Decker's wife,Pet and their daughter,Isabel Two and his three sons:Alfred,the eldest,is mature and sophisticated;Tristan is wild and well educated in Indian tradition;Samuel,the youngest,graduates from Harvard but naive and idealistic.With the coming of Samuel with his fiancee Susanna, the peaceful family is getting mass.Nightmares come subsequently:three brothers attend war between English and Germany--the death of Samuel--Suanna and Tristan fall in love--Tuistan can not confront Samuel's death directly and flies away--Susanna gets married with Alfred--the death of Isabel Two--Susanna commits suicide.

Legends Of The Fall is regarded as one of the most typical movies showing the theme of the western America.It is filled with all kinds of feelings such as:the love between lovers,brothers,father and children and races.I was attracted by the narration"Some people hear their own inner voices with great clearness and they live by what they hear,such people become crazy or they become legends"at the beginning for the first time.I consider that it is the accurate description and conclusion of the whole life of Tristan .And at this moment I still hold the idea,however,I will appreciate the story from other aspect--confliction hinted in the
