Research Paper On Robin Hood
Robin Hood isn't a bad person in particular. He just does what he thinks is best. But he is

definitely not a Christian. In the Bible it says to love our brothers and sisters, Robin Hood judges

people by their appearance. The fruit of who he really is doesn't apply to who a Christian is

supposed to be. Yes, he helps children and women and only hurts those who have done wrong.

But being a Christian is not only about helping it's about being forgiving and patient to those

who don't understand what God wants for them.Besides stealing and deceiving people it shows

what type of person he is.

Doing this to people is never the answer to the problems you may have or want to solve. Even if

a person that just has morals and doesn't have a Christian

Just like Robin the more men, power and money he got the more he wanted. We will

all come to an end some day so why waste is on being greedy. No one can stop us from doing

what we want the most. Even if someone came up to Robin and told him to stop what he was

doing.

His own mother would have not been able to keep him away from his ambition. When we focus

on one thing for too long it becomes a reason for living. It overtakes who you are and that’s

exactly what happened to Robin. He became too cocky. He thought his skills and men (and

money) were going to save him from all danger. His own enemies killed him the people he hated

the most were the last ones he saw. It’s hard to imagine the thing you want most will be the thing

that kills you in the end. Make no enemies and treat all kind for you do not know who will take

your life. Some see the end sooner because of the choices they’ve made. Sadly enough it was his

fate.

As he once said “Calm and careful, make it count”. We cannot make vast choices for it is our life

hanging on the thread. Some other lessons people have taken from Robin Hood and his book

were: never give up, you can change a lot in life and shared values bring people together.

In the forest Robin chose not to kill Sir Guy simply because he was in the presence of Maid Marian. Robin would often let people live if there was a lady around because of his chivalrous nature. Additionally Robin Hood when Sir Guy dropped his sword in a fight Robin gave it back to him to continue the fight. Even if he was fighting a terrible person he still gave them a fair chance of winning the fight. Obviously Robin Hood would grant mercy in battle showing that he was more of a knight than an outlaw.…

    Man - Good or Bad?

    • 619 Words
    • 3 Pages

The story of Robin Hood is a classic. As a matter of fact, so well known that it scarcely needs to be retold, but to be pointed in the right direction – basically, the story tells of a man who stole from the rich to give to the poor. Switching gears, but in the same line of fire, when one steals, even if it is for a good cause, is stealing still wrong? When Heavenly Father said ‘thou shalt not steal,' did he mean ever, without exception? Of course. So why, then, do we cheer for Robin as he runs out of King Richards castle when we know what he has done was wrong? Because he's a good guy, right? If he has to do a couple bad things to make a couple good things happen, it's alright. From this comes the burning question of the day; would the situation at hand mean that Robin Hood was basically a good guy who did bad things, or merely that he was a bad guy doing good things? And even wider, generally, could we ask this question about any person and their motives? Are people, deep down, basically good and easily influenced by the world to do bad things, or are they basically bad, and must be taught by an inside source to be good?…
