The Renaissance, a time like no other where man flourished across Western Europe, and a moment of world history in which similar events will never come again. The term Renaissance refers to the time of 1350 - 1600. The Renaissance was the rebirth of Europe and from it flourished famous artists and important men but none like Leonardo Da Vinci. Born on April 12 1452 in Achino Italy and grew up to be one of the greatest artists, sculptors and expert in other fields. Da Vinci was a Renaissance man because he was not just a generalist, but a specialist in everything he pursued. A Renaissance man is someone who is very good in many different fields and Leonardo Da Vinci is the prime example because of his talents in the artistic field but as well
