I have found reflection practice to be very helpful for professional growth and improvement in my teaching. Because I regularly think about how I teach, I better understand my students' learning goals, preferences, and challenges. Through reflective practice, I have figured out what works well in the classroom and what needs to be changed to help students learn more. Reflective practice has enabled me to adapt my teaching to evolving student needs and classroom contexts. I have made wise choices about instructional design, classroom management, and evaluation by looking at my teaching methods with a critical eye and thinking about how my students are doing.
