There are rising tuition expenses that threatens the ability and difficulty for students to attend college. The struggle that most americans are facing is not getting into college, or questioning if they are smart enough to even get into the college. No, the problem is many americans struggle with affording an exclusive college because half can’t pay for the pricey tuition and additional cost. The fact that college tuition is still rising, it scares many, even though they have a yen for a college degree. The two reasons for this effort are that college costs are taking an enduring percentage out of americans

(Student Debt and the Class of 2014).” Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has a very audacious idea that could possibly fix this growing problem. Sander’s unique charisma, reminiscent of the sixties, is reinvigorating young voters who are very fond of his plan to pay collage tuition. His idea deals with economic concepts such as, the government’s fiscal policy and Keynesian economics ideology that plays a big role in the policies of democrats. Sanders idea sounds almost too good to be true; that is because it is. Bob Davis, senior editor at the Wall Street Journal, and Josh Mitchell, staff reporter…

The community-college tuition initiative by President Obama is a subject to unusual superlatives as it seeks to universalize two years of college. The plan integrates policies that attempt to narrow educational disparities that are characteristics of growing socioeconomic inequality in the United States. In this sense, the purported Obama tuition plan sought to facilitate an increase in the attendance of college students, therefore ensuring higher graduation rates with less debt compared to the current curriculum. The ideal, rendered most Republicans allergic to the ideology as it carried a 10-year price tag of $60 billion that included state and federal components (Alexander). However, the plan is already a subject to criticism due to its failure to account for the fact that few students under the current college…

Mrs. President Obama, you have been somewhat obscure about you community college speech and plans what are you really going to bring to the table for us citizens. In my eyes, affordable college tuition will be the best breakthrough between now and 2025. Although the idea of this sounds absurd because of how high tuition can be these days, I feel as though it is necessary for everyone in this country and other countries as well to have equal opportunities to receive a college diploma. Cost of attending a four year university is out of reach for a vast majority of young people today. Kids my age are forced to base their college choices purely on whether they either can afford to go, or can graduate with an acceptable amount of debt. By making college affordable for each individual, the opportunities for everyone will be much more extensive. This breakthrough in our society will be the best because it will,…
