RED CELL PAPER
When I think how I would plan out a terrorist attack the first thing that comes to mind is when I worked for a private security company that did security for a nuclear power plant here in Cordova, Iowa. They had somewhat of a strong security team but lacked in the areas of the plant that needed the most security. They lacked security for the cooling towers which without could cause the whole plant to come unstable. So there for I’m going to explain how easy it would be to execute an attack on them.

I would research online and off line on how to make a simple bomb and I would make a few of them. After making them I would I simply hide them in my car as they do not 100 % search my personal car when coming though the main gate in which the parking lot faces the main cooling tower that without the main the second and third would fail, therefore creating the plant to overheat and explode.

I would wait to do this when the plant had its seasonal shutdown, they still had staff to keep the plant functioning but the majority of the staff were laid off for a week or so. Also being some of security. Only the full time security worked. I would wait till third shift when basically security was laid back and lazy. I would simply go out to my car for lunch, then quickly prep the explosives I made and drive my truck beside the cooling tower and wait till I was around the security team and set them off. I would then take out the security team I was with and proceed to the weapons locker and take grenades and heavy weapons as a saw and m4-203, that we carried on site and destroy key parts of the plant that stabilize the plant cooling system. By doing so it would over heat the nuclear reactors.

At this point I would go to the fallout shelter and wait for my plan to do its thing. The statistics of what it would do are mind blowing, not only would it take out probably most of Iowa its self but the radiation from the explosion would spread over the Midwest if

First, I would plan for the worst case scenario. My team of executives would be drilled to test the system, find the limitations, and then assign a team to deal with them. It is too late when the event is happening to plan for the scenario. I think as follow-up to the crisis, the plans were executed very well. I also would not plan to take a flight out on the runway when the weather is so bad. I would do almost anything to prevent them from being stranded on the tarmac. It is my opinion that I would make drastic IT changes, starting…

Each gun that the men are given for the mass shooting costs $700 and ammunition for the guns will cost $100. The average cost for TNT is $335. Dynamite is $60 for a 1kg Satchel; we would purchase 3 satchels. We would purchase a car for the suicide bomber to drive to the gate. This car would cost no more than $1000. We would provide training to our recruits for no price. We have experiences personal within our organization that can train them effectively. The total price of this terrorist attack would be $3,015. We are looking to spend a minimal amount of money but produce the most terror. Our main goal is to make money, if we spend all of our money on attacking the United States we will be hurting ourselves more than fighting for our…

Nuclear is a wonderful word if used in the legitimate way; in 2012 10% of the world's energy came from nuclear power plants, but if used in the most unpleasant way possible a god-awful situation can occur. In “Grace Period” by Will Baker a nuclear bomb is detonated in a suburban area in the United States of America. The article used to support this story is “Nuclear Weapons Effects” by John Pike. The man has had the fortuitous of being part a nuclear attack and he can expect nothing but death.…

The Los Zetas is a Mexican transnational criminal organization specializing in drug and human trafficking that has extended across the Texas and Arizona borders with recent expansion in the South and Midwest. They are a paramilitary group specializing in violent behavior that has crossed the Mexican/American border to include recruitment of United States young citizens. Because it is not a matter of when the Zetas will breach our border areas but how forcefully and repeatedly, a Red Cell analysis is imperative to understand their criminal mindset and predict their imminent and future intentions. Penetration beyond our borders has already occurred not only with the shipment of drugs but also by way of attacks on U.S. law enforcement and recruitment…

An emergency according to Federal Emergency Management Agency (“FEMA”)[1], is any unplanned event that can cause deaths or significant injuries to employees, customers or the public; or that can shut down the business, disrupt operations, cause physical or environmental damage, or threaten the facility’s financial standing or public image (FEMA, page 5). Before we can prepare a continuity of operation plan, we must analyze the types and possibilities of environmental catastrophes that are expected or anticipated in Chicago, Illinois. Although the mayor recently warned the hospital that the elevated railway station near by was found to be the target of a foiled plot of international terrorists to detonate large explosives, environmental catastrophes in Chicago include far more possibilities.…

One instance of an act that some have considered terrorism was the Boston Tea Party. The colonists were upset with the British for the new tax they had to pay with the Tea Act. They were reacting to this as a child would react to an unjust punishment placed upon them by a parent. They wanted to be noticed and they wanted to have their way. It was not an act inspired by malice but by resentment for unfair treatment by the British crown. They wanted to show the British that they were serious and would not stand to be treated in such ways. Furthermore they were not aiming to kill or physically harm anyone; they wanted to convince the government to repeal the unfair act. I cannot see how this is an act of terrorism especially when…

The basic incident command system works from the 3 principles of life safety, property conservation, and incident stabilization. With life safety being performed with the removal of the workers near the spill and receiving medical attention I can now turn my attention to the materials involved. I would consider sheltering in place all of the plant except the production area. This area would need to be evacuated as soon as possible due to the area being next to the spill. With the product staring to off gas I need to shut down any air handlers in that area to prevent the gas from traveling though out the building or the site and causing more harm to the workers. I know that I have oxidizers, flammable, acids, and bases stored in the same area but in different bins. I also know that acids and bases are chemical opposites that react violently with each other, often producing heat, explosions or toxic gases. Since they are powerful corrosives, they can react with many other substances. Many acids are also oxidizers and can create fires if they react with combustible materials.…

The purpose of this plan protects the American people and their interest by training and identifying scenarios where threats are present, or action may be required. The plan stated in its publication to “Build a safer, more secure, and more resilient America by preventing, deterring, neutralizing, or mitigating the effects of deliberate efforts by terrorists to destroy, incapacitate, or exploit elements of our Nation’s CIKR, and to strengthen national preparedness, timely response, and rapid recovery of CIKR in the event of an attack, natural disaster, or other emergency.” Critical infrastructure must be secure and able to withstand and rapidly recover from all hazards. Proactive and coordinated efforts are necessary to strengthen and maintain secure, functioning, and resilient critical infrastructure – including assets, networks, and systems – that are vital to public confidence and the Nation’s safety, prosperity, and well-being. This endeavor is a shared responsibility among Federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial entities, and public and private owners and operators of critical infrastructure.(DHS, 2009) This plan focuses on actual, potential, or threatened interference with, attack on, compromise of, or incapacitation…
