Executive summary
TEMC is a hospital which located in far north Queensland, Australia. The hospital-TEMC had faced the supplier shortage of doctors recently. This report researched both the external and internal environment facing the organisation. The external environment had exerted a significant influence on the RSP in the hospital. Then, the report will provide some options for TEMC to follow to improve RSP. There are many recruitment methods for TEMC to practice in order to get the qualified employees. One of the most popular recruitment methods refers to e- recruitment. The hospital should take the advantages of the e-recruitment as much as possible. More importantly, the report would give a set of procedures for TEMC to improve the RSP. Human resource planning and job analysis are the foundation of the recruitment and selection process. Finally, this report would give some recommendation for the hospital in terms of the recruitment, selection and placement.

Introduction:
The research revealed that medical industry like TEMC had faced a lot of challenges recently. The reasons may lie in both internal and external environment. It was reported that E-recruitment had become popular in the medical industry. It was regarded as cost and time effective way to recruitment. The location of the hospital may have a relationship with the supplier shortage. However, the internal issues had played an important role as the external environment in the hospital. The hospital should adopt different kinds of recruitment methods. Then, there will be some options provided for TEMC to improve RSP. Both internal and external recruitment methods will be used. Internal recruitment will provide competitive advantage for the existing employees. On the contrary, external recruitment will provide a large pool of candidates. However, both recruitment methods may have some disadvantages. This report will solve both pros and cons of these two methods. Besides, a set of procedures for TMEC to follow would be discussed in this report. Human resource planning and job analysis are the first step. The last step of recruitment and selection involves in a creative induction. At the end of the report, it will give some recommendations for TEMC in terms of recruitment, selection and placement.

Discussion
As the world rapidly changes, organisations are increasingly aware that they are now living in the technology area. Technology can help organisation o achieve goals faster and more efficiently and effectively than their competitors. For example, computer technology was used to recruit, train, develop and monitor human resources (Gillian, 2000). The research revealed that the e-recruitment had become more and more popular within the medical industry (Lance, 2007). The medical industry has gained the competitive advantage through using e-recruitment, which provides a large quantity of high candidates for the industry. On the contrary, TEMC had faced with the problems of shortage applicants. Secondly, TEMC had also faced with the problem of diversity. More and more immigrates had entered in north Queensland these days. Thus, the employees in the medical comprised of different nationalities.
