In the story Raymond’s Run by Toni Cade Bambara,Squeaky the protagonist lives in New York and her only responsibility is to take care of her special needs brother,Raymond.She is not open with people and so she does not have friends.Squeaky protects herself and her family too much but she learns that being vulnerable to others can make you happier and will bring a positive impact on your life.
