Rachel Bohlen: A Case Study
On April 5, 2017, at approximately 1100 hours, the undersigned detective and Ms. Rachel Bohlen (OAG), interviewed the complainant at 441 4th Street NW. The complainant stated that she is no longer in a romantic relationship with the alleged suspect; however she is still in love with him. The complainant stated that the alleged suspect took advantage of her and forced her to have sexual intercourse. The complainant stated that she does not want to see him incarcerated. The complainant stated that alleged suspect approached her at school and apologized about what happened.

The neighbor next door over heard the altercation but he didn’t think anything of it. He then went back to sleep and decided to check on her in the morning like he always does. That morning he went to see if she was okay, as he walked over there he noticed the door was open. He quickly became aware of Ella’s death. He ran back home to call the police.     A young 17 year old girl named Karla Homolka met 23 year old Paul Bernardo at a restaurant in 1987. By late 1989 Paul and Karla were engaged as a happy couple, while Bernardo was raping numerous women in the Scarborough region with Homolka’s approval. In total, he admitted to sexually assaulting 14 women and being related to 53 charges in total. Paul wanted Karla’s younger sister’s virginity because Karla wasn’t a virgin. In July 1990 Bernardo and Homolka served Tammy a spaghetti dinner laced with Valium stolen from Homolka’s workplace. These drugs rendered Tammy unconscious as Bernardo raped her. This first attack lasted only a minute before Tammy became conscious again and bernardo was forced to stop. Homolka stole animal tranquilizers from her work and after their family Christmas dinner, Bernardo and Homolka served Tammy the drugs through beverages.
