Pspice Project
Abstract
In our experiment, we analysed three-phase balanced or unbalanced circuits by using PSpice 9.1 and the same way is used to analyse single-phase ac circuit. We determined the value of generator current Iab, line current IbB, and the phase current IBC. Initially, PSpice is used to draw a schematic diagram of circuit A. Under the simulation, two major problems were occurred. First, a delta connected source is a loop of voltage sources which must be prevented when PSpice is used. To prevent this, we connect a resistor of negligible or very low value of resistance of the resistor into each phase of delta-connected source. Second, the delta-connected source did not provide a node for ground node to run the simulation. Therefore, we inserted wye-connected large value resistor in the delta-connected source so that it can be served as ground. This means that in Circuit 1, a resistor of negligible or very low value of resistance is connected into each phase of delta-connected source.

Introduction Three-phase system refer to a system consist of three voltage sources connected to loans by three or four wires and is equivalent to three single-phase circuits. The voltage sources can be either wye-connected or delta-connected. Three phase voltages are often produced with a three phase ac generator which basically consists of a rotating magnet or rotor surrounded by a stationary winding (stator). Three separate windings or coils with terminals are physically placed 120o apart around the stator. Since the three-phase voltages are 120o out of phase with each other, there are two possible combination. One is known as positive sequence. This sequence is produced when the rotor rotates counter clockwise. The other is known as negative sequence and is produced when the rotor rotates in

Increasing the yield to 85.2% will decrease the loss for the clear glass by $1,647.51 per month and reduce the loss of $2,417.04 per month for the LoĒ² 272. This slight increase can in yield can go a long way to increasing yearly profits. Through observation and yield versus lites per sheet the best ways to increase the yield are to try to eliminate the need for recuts, this is easier said than done with any number of problems that happen along the line for window assembly.…

Research is designed to provide explanations and prove theories, researcher go beyond normal everyday observation and assumption and through various research methods used through systematic and controlled observation show empirical evidence that those observation are valid and prove their hypothesis. There are four different types of research methods that psychology uses to prove the hypothesis and when the researcher begins to prove a theory they must decide on the proper research method to follow to prove that theory.…

Basically, biological psychology is the study of behavior in regards to the intricacies involved in the relationship between physiological and psychological processes of human and animals. Often biological psychological is being regarded as neurobiology or behavioral neuroscience. In other words, it could be said to be the interwoven network relationship between the body and the mind. The main concept of biological psychology centers on the function of the brain and the nervous system; which comprises the processes of learning, feeling, sensing, perceiving and thinking. It could be said to be the process of perceiving or receiving external stimuli by the nervous system.…

Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory states that there are three level of consciousness which is conscious, preconscious and unconscious. Conscious, this is the part of mind that holds what you are aware to and presents memory of what one is currently thinking while preconscious is the ordinary memory that can easily accessible. Unconscious which are the negative aspects of the mind such as the sadness and pain that need to unfulfilled and not directly accessible to awareness (David. B. S, 1998).…

The majority of energy used in the world is the electrical energy which is generated, distributed and utilized in sinusoidal form. This type of energy production are called alternating current (AC) source. Due to the presence of different types of loads in a circuit, the phase difference or angle (θ) is form between the voltage and the current vector. Figure1 below shows the typical vector diagram of AC voltage and current. This angle (θ) is called the power factor angle and the cosine of this angle is called the power factor. Power factor may be defined also as the ratio of the real power to the apparent power whose value lies between 0 and 1 and it is dimensionless quantity. Figure 2 Shows the Power Triangle…

Abstract— on this experiment, analysis of resistive network by series-parallel circuits, the students will demonstrate the characteristics of series-parallel circuits by measuring and verifying the calculations of the resistance, voltage and current associated with the different resistive components of a series – parallel circuit. On this experiment, the students will also demonstrate the principle of basic electric circuit Law called Ohm’s Law as well as the use of basic principles involved in series, parallel and series-parallel. This experiment discusses about the use of the Ohm’s Law and its applications on a real circuit. With the use of a circuit simulation, the group verified the values obtain through computation.…
