Pros And Cons Of Canceling 8th Grade Dance
I disagree with your decision completely to cancel the 8th grade dance. Let me tell you why I don’t agree with it. There is no reason to cancel the 8th grade advancement. Advancement has been a tradition at this school each year for years and years. It is unwise to cancel it now. You really should keep it going because many kids look forward to it and have already made plans. A lot of the girls in my class have looked for their dresses already. Those students have put in a great deal of effort for this event. The dance has already been organized by the parents. Some people have relatives coming from far distances. She said her daughter stayed home from school her first week of middle school because she was so nervous. However, her first day of high school was a magical experience for her. The parent explained how her daughter was bouncing in her seat at the dinner table describing what a great day she had. Our Link Crew director announced whose group she was in, and sure enough, it was…
