Property Crimes
State the definition of property according to the Maryland Annotated Code as it relates to the criminal offense of theft. State the definition and the code section.

In the state of Maryland code the property crimes are explained in very detailed description.
The laws in regards to the property crimes deal with all intellectual and tangible as well as the property crimes committed in cyberspace and on telecommunications devices. In section §7-104, §7-105, §7-302.
The above sections deal with the property that is obtained with the intent of defrauding the victim. Having an unauthorized control over the property with the intent of stealing. Knowingly purchasing the stolen property.
Any person involved in such criminal activity can face charges

The owner of the pawnshop was aware of the theft from the tools store and also had a visit from the police officers investigating the crime. As the owner of the pawnshop observed the tools they look fairly new. The owner of the pawn shop makes the phone call at the number provided to him by the police officers as the pawn shop owner holds the tools seller for the purpose of determining the price of the tools the officers show up at the pawn shop. As soon as the officers arrived they start to question the person selling the tools. After having interweaved the tools seller the officers learned that he bought these tools from his neighbor named Jimmy the person that came to sell the tools at the pawnshop led the police to Jimmy and Jimmy was arrested for further inquiry. Jimmy has had encounters with police in drug possession and use. Further investigation revealed that not only the tools that Jimmy allegedly have sold to his neighbor matched the description of the tools stolen from the tool shop a week earlier and the forensic confirmed that the fingerprints found in tools shop matched Jimmy’s fingerprints.
Soon the prosecutor built his case and now Jimmy is officially arrested and told by the police officer his alleged crimes.
Once the case is in court Jimmy may be charged with unlawful breaking and entering, theft, and selling the property that didn't belong to him, involve in a trade of selling stolen property. Jimmy sentence will be determined by the amount of tools he had stolen. Once the amount is determined that will decide if Jimmy will be charged with a misdemeanor or a
