Pros and Cons.
Hyundai prides it’s self in quality, design, and safety when it manufactures automobiles. There will always be some cars better than others within the same company. If not enough time is initially put into thought and sketching out the product, there will be problems. But if enough effort is there, the car will be a success.
The Hyundai Veloster is an eye-catching car. It is geared to the younger generation between 18-25 year olds. The pro’s to the automobile is the racing exterior style. It draws attention because it looks different. The younger generation is drawn to it because that’s what are in style at the moment; like the movie Fast and the Furious. Everyone young person wants a car like that. It’s unique style in having three doors instead of four is also eye-catching. The fuel mileage is good as well. It gets 26 in city mpg’s and 38 highway mpg’s. Hyundai has also redesigned the turbo engine.
As there is pro’s there is also con’s. The con’s of the Hyundai Veloster is that the current turbo engine is not what it’s made out to be. The car does not go as fast as it looks like it should. The car needs more power to live up to its image. The driving position and visibility is not good. The thick windshield makes it hard to see clearly and there is a major blindside on the side view of the car. The leg room in the back is extremely bad. This car should have been made as a two- seater because the back seats are extremely small with little to no leg room. The middle console in the back eliminates room for a fifth person. The passengers in the car can feel the jolts from sharp bumps; it’s not a smooth ride. Finally, the fact that there is only three doors makes it hard for the people in the back to get in and out of the car.
The Veloster is fairly new and is undergoing enhancements. Hopefully, Hyundai will work through all

Many consumers look for dependability when looking for a vehicle. Nevertheless, the hybrid appears to be more popular; not because it offers new technology and features. In a like manner, the sedan offers luxury style vehicles with different colors and interior likable to its buyer. Although, the hybrid is the newest technology to the car industry; equally they have active and passive 5 star rating for…

The competitive environment faced by Mercedes Benz is one filled with many different car manufactures and car models. Mercedes has several competitors in terms of price and quality on all of their product platforms. Historically, Mercedes biggest competitors have been Lexus, BMW, Audi, and Cadillac. The economic downturn coupled with the restructuring of domestic auto manufactures has shifted Mercedes competition. In recent years there is gaining popularity in domestic vehicles. Rather than just competing with luxury automobiles, Mercedes is now competing with newly designed domestic automobiles, including those manufactured by Jeep and Ford. These vehicles are listed at a slightly lower price point than most Mercedes but offer many of the same features and reliability once only offered by luxury brands. In addition to the initial cost savings of these domestic vehicles, regular service and maintenance is substantially lower than that of luxury vehicles. This competitive environment requires that Mercedes continue to manage costs for all new and existing products while upholding their long reputation of delivering quality products. It also requires that Mercedes consistently develop and introduce new products to stay current and suit changing markets.…

The problem that Honda faces right now, which could hurt the company’s overall profits, is that consumers are not well educated and informed about the benefits that this hybrid technology can offer. In other words, the positive features of a HEV have not been marketed well enough to change buyers’ outlook on transportation options and train them to look beyond the price premium (of up to $5,000) and buy a hybrid car. According to a large-sample survey of recent car buyers, the top three factors that were identified as being most important when purchasing a car were “reliability”, “value for the money” and “well-made vehicle”. Similarly, auto dealers stated that buyers routinely ranked “functionality”, “safety” and “price” as important factors when shopping for a car. Factors, such as “gas mileage”, “technical innovation” and “environmentally friendly” were also listed, but were all ranked well below the top five. Therefore, Honda is faced with the…

Jeepneys have open windows and doors. Attached rear doors are mostly used by privately owned or used jeepneys. However rear doors are mandatory for public utility vehicles (PUVs) using expressways. Seats are placed vertically from the driver and can accommodate from 6-11 passengers each side. Some jeepneys also have wooden stools placed in the center and are called extensions for extra passengers. In some areas, extra passengers cling outside the jeepney (sabit) or sit on the roof (top load).…
