Airport process

I really like to travel to other countries. Summer and winter vacation is the great time to go on a trip. However, preparing for going on a trip is a difficult task. If you prepare trip well, your trip can be fun, and if not, your trip can be boring. It depends on how you planned. Airport process is one of the important parts when going on vacation. There are several steps that you have to know in the airport.
The first step is that you should pack your travel bags well before going to the airport. Before packing bags, it is important to check the rules that airline requires. Each airline has different rules, so you should throughly check the rules like luggage size, weight and forbidden items on website or calling. If you don't follow these rules, you will have many problems. For example, you will pay extra fee when luggage size and weight violate rules and if you have forbidden items, security guards check your body so that you are likely to feel terrible. After doing it, it is beneficial to use Use a checklist when packing. It helps you not to forget bring important items that you should bring. Also, trying packing aids is also very helpful. It allows you to vacuum pack your items like clothes into tiny bundles. If you plan to go for a long trip or concerned about space, this relieve your concern. Also, you need to check thoroughly valid ID and plane ticket not to put them in your home. Without valid ID and plane ticket, you can’t board the plane. Also, it is very important to bring your passport that has not been expired yet. And then, you need to know that the foreign country requires visa on the passport and find the right airline terminal. Some big cities have several airport, so many people have a problem. I remember that a few years ago, my parents planned to go to Los Angeles in California from Minneapolis, Minnesota. In

I believe Margaret Drabble’s statement, “Our desire to conform is greater than our respect for objective facts,” to be quite true. Throughout history, people of all ages have wanted to be accepted and belong to a group rather than look at the facts and measure what is true and false. It is very evident in our society today that not only do we want to be accepted and belong, but we also are willing to do whatever it takes, no matter what the consequences turn out to be. I agree with Drabble’s statement and believe that it is true all around the world. If you were to step outside our society and look back at it objectively, I can assure you that you would see evidence of this.…

Belonging is a sense of enlightenment felt when an individual gains an understanding of themselves in relation to others and the wider world. This is just one idea presented about belonging, however there are many different ways to belong and there can be barriers that prevent people from belonging. These ideas of belonging are explored throughout the short story “Neighbours” by Tim Winton and Peter Skyzneckic’s “Immigrant Chronicles”. “Immigrant chronicles” is a collection of poems that demonstrates the hardships experienced by migrants as a result of dislocation, alienation, discrimination and prejudice. The “Immigrant Chronicles” demonstrate how there are a variety of ideas about belonging and how people can gain a sense of belonging through shared experiences, relationships with others, being accepted within a society, and through an understanding of different cultures.…

Laundry is a daily chore that must be done. I do not know of anyone who enjoys the daily ritual of cleaning clothes but with a few easy steps it does not have to be such a hassle. There is also some pre-planning steps you can take that will save you time and frustration. The first and most important step in the laundry process is to be prepared. Make sure you have all the supplies you need to get the job done before you get started. You will need laundry detergent. You can buy powder or liquid detergent, but I prefer liquid because powder detergent does not always dissolve completely and you can substitute liquid detergent for stain remover in a pinch. You will also need a stain remover, such as Shout, and bleach. Bleach now comes in a color safe version so you can use it on all your clothes, not just whites. I also recommend using a liquid fabric softener in the wash but you will need sheets for the dryer as well. Most washing machines have a place to put it or you can buy a ball that goes in the washer and releases the fabric softener at the right time. Also, you will need a basket for your dirty clothes to go in.. I keep several so I can sort them as they get dirty instead of digging through one basket to get a load. Once you have all your supplies you are ready to start. Depending on what you are washing you will need to adjust the setting on your washer. For example towels can be washed on heavy duty but finer linens such as silks need a more delicate setting. Start the washer and add the detergent and any bleach as the water begins to fill. If you do not already have your laundry separated in baskets, you will need to go through everything to get a load ready. Like colors and fabrics…

In class I have studied two speculative fiction short stories. Speculative fiction is a story genre that puts ordinary people in extraordinary situations, asking the question “what if?” It also opens up disturbing questions about humanity and society. “Visiting the Millionaire” by George Anthony and “All Summer in a Day” by Ray Bradbury are both examples of spec-fiction because they both raise questions about humanity and society and the way that we treat other people. Another reason is that both these stories make predictions or speculate about the future and they ask the question “what if?”…
