Those are the people who will be most vulnerable to to abuse, error, minorities and those who are not educated or not empowered. The history of the laws treatment of assisted death in this country has been one of the rejection of nearly all efforts to permit it. Our decisions lead us to conclude that the asserted “right” to assisted suicide is not a fundamental liberty that’s protected by the Due Process Clauses (DPC). The government spends about $35 to $40 on drugs for assisted suicide. Saving the money this program makes could fill the void from cutbacks for treatment and care with the “treatment of death”.
Personally we agree that assisted suicide should not be an option. But since it is; wanting it, wishing it, loving it, wanting it to end, it should be left as a personal decision. For some, it may be required for an aid of someone else. It would be better than asking a friend or family member would could end up in jail. We don't agree with how people go about wanting assisted suicide. People should want it live there life and die peacefully somewhere great not a hospital
