Pro And Cons Of Communism Essay

What are the main aspects of communism? In a communist society, everyone is of the same social class, every member of the community is provided with health care, every member of the society is able to work, and everyone has common ownership of property. Communism is a system of government where all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state, founded by Karl Marx, with the main goal of having equality. Communism has its pros and cons, but i would say that the cons outweigh the pros in this situation. Some of the concepts of communism can be good and bad all at once. Even though these are things that a communist society supposedly follows, some countries tend not to abide by them to the fullest. For example, North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un does not follow a lot of the rules in communism, but at the same time there’s no one to stop him from making whatever decision he pleases to make. In a communist society, all businesses are owned by the government. In a way, this can be good and bad. When, the government owns every business, every business is pretty much on the same level, and they each have the same amount of success. No matter what a business specializes in, the same amount of funding goes to each business, since each business is funded by the government. This plays in the concept of everyone having common
Some of the concepts of communism happen to be good and bad. I would say that number of cons outweigh the number of pros though. In a communist society, everyone is treated equally, which is definitely one of the pros, but at the same time, it allows members in society to not work as hard as others and yet, still receive the same number of funds as a hard working co-worker.
