Dear Mrs. Evander,
Thank you for taking the time to write us about your concerns regarding receiving a full refund for the Diamond Princess cruise you were on. We at Princess Cruises pride ourselves on offering customers the best possible service and accommodations.
Princess Cruises understands and apologizes for the disappointment caused by missing some scheduled ports due to the typhoons. What we find most important is that we keep our passengers safe and do our best to keep everyone safe and out of harms way. Oftentimes passengers overlook the fine print when booking their cruises and miss where it states re-routing ships to ensure safety in case of bad weather. This is solely a safety precaution and we stand by this rule to the fullest extent.
Our mission is to satisfy our guests to the fullest potential and would like for you have an enjoyable experience with Princess Cruises. On top of the already authorized $250 ship credit granted on the ship, we are offering a 50% discount to compensate for the discouragement experienced on the Diamond Princess. We hope to have you back again soon for a more enjoyable, relaxing Princess Cruise.
Sincerely,

No, Health Cruises should not go ahead with the cruise since they would be loosing 35,000 dollars if they do so. They should try one of the other options and if none are possible they should go ahead with the cruise because a 35000 loss is better than a 335,000 one.…

Cruise lines carefully monitor storms. If a ship gets caught in rough weather, the results can be deadly. In 1998, all 100 passengers on Windjammer Cruises’ Fantome disembarked safely in Belize, but the crew (on company orders) attempted to sail the ship out of the path of Hurricane Mitch. The storm changed course and…

    Cruise to The Bahamas

During my junior year in high school me, my mom and some of her friends went on a cruise to the Bahamas. It was a three day cruise leaving Miami going to Nassau, Bahamas which is their capital. It was a Thursday night in May 2008 and we had a flight to catch to Miami. Even though the boat didn’t leave till the next day in the afternoon, it was best to get there early in case you missed your flight because most cruises aren’t refundable. We ending up flying to Fort Lauderdale airport which was not that far from our hotel which was in Miami. When we touched down in Florida it was beautiful. I’ve been to Florida before but it was when I was young so I didn’t remember anything. It was night time and the palm trees was so pretty and the weather was perfect, especially since I was coming from Michigan. We ended up staying at the hotel which was not to far from the carnival porting dock.…

The children of Puerto Rico inspired me to achieve mine goals in life. I know that sounds confusing since I am not of Hispanic decent, so let me explain. The summer of sophomore year, I traveled on a mission trip to Puerto Rico with my school. I visioned the trip as a paradise vacation. However, I was wrong. Though I encountered many experiences, there is one that I will never forget. After long hours of working in the community, we ended the day by visiting a boys’ orphanage for mentally and physically disabled. Upon arrival, the kids were lined up at the gate waving and smiling at us ready to give us hugs even though they did not know us at all. While at the orphanage, a man outside was selling cakes and we decided to buy some for the boys.…

Combining the best of Walt Disney World with brand new cruise ships, the Disney cruise line creates a combination of the romance of yesteryear with all the comforts of today. Launched in July 1998, the Disney Cruise Line has managed to sustain and create that 'magical experience' that Walt Disney customers have grown to expect and wish for. The Disney Cruise Line currently consists of two vessels, the Disney Magic, and the Disney Wonder that sail throughout the Western and Eastern Caribbean, as well as the Bahamas (Exhibit 1). Presently, the cruise line offers 5 different cruising options, including a 7 day land/sea package, a 3 and 4 night cruise only package to the Bahamas, and either a 7 night Eastern or Western Caribbean itinerary. It is important to note that the Disney Magic is responsible for the 7 night cruises; where as the Disney Wonder is responsible for the 3-4 night cruises to the Bahamas. The 7 night land/sea package is an extraordinary and unique package that Disney offers to its customers, where customers are given the opportunity to spend 3-4 nights at Walt Disney World in Orlando, and then spend the remaining of their time aboard the Disney Wonder. In addition to the islands of the Caribbean, the Disney Cruise Line offers its passengers a private get away for a day of rest and relaxation on its own island in the Bahamas called Castaway Cay. This island is always one of the stops on the Disney Cruise Line itinerary, and provides the passengers with sun drenched beaches, exciting adventures, casinos, and unbelievable shore excursions. The Disney Cruise line has sole rights to this oasis in the Caribbean; no other cruise lines are given access to this island (Exhibit 2).…
