Planet Lucum A Narrative Fiction
This is where our story really gets interesting! This may come as a surprise, but Coach Kirkland was not just an ordinary coach. Actually he was a superhero in disguise, from an alternate planet, called Lucuma.
Planet Lucuma is the garden of Eden. On the next play, Sugary Red Drink leaked his fizz, causing Josh to slip and fall, losing yardage.

The super foods exploded like fireworks. They zapped all of the junk foods from his body and replaced them with super rich nutrients and

Located north of the celeatial equator. Andromeda is most prominent during autumn evenings in the Nothern Hemisphere, along with several other constellations named for characters in the Perseus myth. Because of its northern declination, Andromeda is visible only north of 40° south latitude; for observers farther south it lies below the horizon. It is one of the largest constellations, with an area of 722 square degrees. This is over 1,400 times the size of the full moon, 55% of the size of the largest constellation,…

The hopeless romantic inside of you might wish to say yes, but human experience tells you otherwise. Discovering a connection with another person can be an exciting reprieve from a mundane life, but when the novelty of the situation wears off, you often question whether the choices you made were the right ones. In her short story “The Littoral Zone,” Andrea Barrett illustrates just such circumstances through the art of mimetic storytelling, making this work of fiction highly realistic in terms of character and plot. Much like the tides of the title, Jonathon and Ruby’s relationship ebbs and flows, filled with…

Hamburgers have been transformed into veggie burgers and pizzas have been changed to white pizzas. The problem with veggie burgers and white pizzas are they simply do not taste as good as a regular hamburger or pizza. As Michael Pollen stated, “to think of some of the most delicious components of food as toxins, as nutritionism has taught us to do in the case of fat, does little for our happiness as eaters” (13). When Americans try and eat healthy, they opt to go for the healthy options and not the unhealthy options even though those are the foods that taste the best. So to conquer the dilemma of finding healthy, tasteful foods, we must find healthy foods that taste as good as the unhealthy…

After she had bought more tickets than I care to say, we gazed at all the rides that were so familiar. After a long pondering, Lizzie finally decided which one to go on first. When we were in line for the ride called Space Alien, I turned around to see the belt buckle of the tallest man I had ever seen. He had a scraggly beard and wore all black. Less than two minutes left in the Class A WPIAL Championship football game at Heinz Field. It is third down and seven yards to go with the score is tied at six against the number one team in Pennsylvania, the Clairton Bears. I line up under the center, look around at the defense, and yell out “hut”. I drop back for a pass, I see that the receiver is covered, and begin to panic. I try to run but the defense is closing in quickly. I look up and see a receiver running towards the end zone with nobody near him. I close my eyes and I throw the ball as hard as I can. It looks like it is going to be a touchdown but out of nowhere a six foot four inch defense of player swoops in and barely hits the ball with his fingertips. The ball falls to the grass of Heinz Field incomplete.…
