After the catapult is built, we will have to use a Protractor for when we pull the fork back to match up with both angles. Then, after we pull it back we let go and see how far each object went for each angle. After we launch the launch angles for 32° are; 3.1ft, 7 ft, 7.3ft, 8.6ft, 9 ft, 9.2ft, 10 ft, 12.7ft, 13.1ft, and 14.5ft. For 25°, the launch angles are ; 2.1ft , 4.3ft, 5 ft, 6ft, 7ft, 8ft, 8.3ft, 8.11ft, 10.11ft, and 22.4ft. Then you when you turn them into inches and after that when you add they together you would get 1129 for 32° and 993 for…

    Projectile and Marble

You have learned that the motion of any object moving through the air affected only by gravity is an example of projectile motion. Examples of projectile motion include a basketball thrown toward a hoop, a car driven off a cliff by a stunt person, and a marble launched from the CPO marble launcher. Toss a ball some distance and you can imagine in your mind the arc it follows, first rising then falling to the ground. Projectile motion is also called two-dimensional motion because it depends on two components: vertical and horizontal. The range is the horizontal distance that the projectile travels between launch and landing. In this experiment, you will see how the range is related to the launch angle and initial velocity of launch.…

Happy endings are presumed to belong to the realm of fantasy. In real life, after all, even a thumping electoral victory is generally more a first act than a last; what ensues, much too often, is disappointment, broken promises and even murmurs of a recall. When the believer, in any faith, tells us that the reward for bloody sacrifice is eternal joy, the nonbeliever is often tempted to think that the believer is merely trying to justify the ways of God to man. On earth at least, the end of life is death.…

After meeting with Dr. Loebenberg, it came to my attention that my argument to the relationship of piety, glory, and moral responsibility lacked a conceptual framework. This framework should have addressed the relationship and provided a “backbone” to the argument that would create an effective platform for reasoning. The idea behind the conceptual framework should have been an overarching concept that supported my argument: Glory received by pious mortals and their interactions with their Gods served as an incentive to be piety in their society. My paper’s argument follows up with a declaration of this relationship and the result: a lower level of free will. Due to the increased involvement of a divine authority, the moral responsibility of…

    Catapult Essay

A successful part of it was that the structure was built strong enough to stay intact after launching play dough multiple times in a row. A failure aspect of it was that it does not launch the play dough as far as we would want it to, it launches the play dough consistently a little over the minimum requirement of 2 meters. After seeing our catapult perform, we would not change our design for multiple reasons. Firstly, the the structure had no flaws with launching the play dough; it was consistent throughout every launch. Secondly, it launched the play dough to the requirement with ease. Finally, the play dough successfully made it into the first tub more than once which accumulated points for us. Therefore, our catapult met our expectations on how well it…
