The Eagles would get Wentz, even though they had re-signed Sam Bradford to a two-year, $36 million contract and signed Chase Daniel in free agency to a three-year, $21 million deal.
Nevertheless, the Eagles acquiring Wentz was a part of a bigger plan for the franchise's future plans. On Saturday, Roseman shocked the entire league once again, trading Bradford to the Minnesota Vikings for a 2017 first round pick and a conditional fourth round pick in 2018. However, the conditional fourth round pick in 2018 could become a second round pick if the Vikings win the Super Bowl.
