Peter Popoff As An Effective Leader
Though Peter Popoff has been successful in convincing hundreds of his healing powers his time as a leader has had several shortcomings. Popoff has been exposed as a fake several times during his career. According to Business Insider, Popof was first revealed as a scam in 1986 on the Johnny Carson show (Maag, 2010). However as an effective leader he should have been able to learn from his mistakes to avoid being exposed again. Though that has not been the case, Popoff has been exposed several times after this incident. In 2013 Popoff’s former employee Crystal Sanchez published The Real Truth Behind People United for Christ in which she exposed details of her time at the organization (Oppenheimer, 2017).
