The SpaceX Mars Program launches the rockets that are designed by entrepreneur Elon Musk, with the goal to reduce space transportation cost and enable colonization of Mars. However, The Falcon 9 is the process of landing rockets correctly and what will have to be done before sending humans off to Mars. Even though, in the article “SpaceX Mars” explains the trip to Mars and the number of expenses for safety that is needed to continue the process. On the other hand, “The Falcon Has Landed” presents a stronger argument by indicating that focusing on the rockets can increase the chances of improving landings, safe transports, and reducing cost. One reason “The Falcon Has Landed” SpaceX has been improving landings by continuously launching rockets multiple ways and in different locations. What is said in “The Falcon Has Landed”, “SpaceX tried four times in the past two years to land one of its Falcon 9 rockets at sea; each exploded” (Betz 27). Making it a cheaper cost it has got attention from the United States Air Force. The Air Force has decided to spend 422 million per satellite launched by the year of 2021. I can only imagine what it would be like traveling to space. It is not something I sit around and think about doing. Those who had the pleasures of going to space, like the astronauts, are those who had been preparing for such a career. This does not make me want to go to space, going to space is like dying and going to the other side, you just do not know what to expect. Science tells us that space is like a never ending hole. This sounds a little creepy, but space really is not all that scary, it is quite amazing actually. Science tells us that space is a galaxy with many stars, planets, and rocks. However, I am against civilians in space because civilians are inexperienced and the cost can become extremely high.…

Traditionally, rockets have been left to burn up in the Earth's atmosphere after launch, and that's why going to space has been so expensive. The necessary level of precision is astounding. Looking at this using my sociological imagination I think this thing with space x launching more rockets is good because that way we can discover more things in space.…

In NASA, the Mars science lab rover is acknowledged, over a budget at 2.5 billion dollars. Although Obama’s Fiscal plan for 2013 would incise NASA’s funds from 587 million dollars to 360 million dollars, no quantity of money is worth Mars exploration. Mars is still merely a rocky surface in the midst of no indication of water or active geology. Space exploration is exceptionally expensive to the citizens of the United States; the government could unquestionably use this money to better the country where the people live. Exploration costs millions of dollars which is completely unnecessary to provide the NASA space program.…

The Space Race was a 20th-century competition between two Cold War rivals, the Soviet Union (USSR) and the United States (US), for supremacy in spaceflight capability. It had its origins in the missile-based nuclear arms race between the two nations that occurred following World War II, aided by captured German missile technology and personnel from the Aggregat program. The technological superiority required for such supremacy was seen as necessary for national security, and symbolic of ideological superiority. The Space Race spawned pioneering efforts to launch artificial satellites, unmanned space probes of the Moon, Venus, and Mars, and human spaceflight in low Earth orbit and to the Moon.…
