Ahhhh! Marijuana the drug that has been putting people who don't deserve to be in prison for years. Some people aren't even selling it, all they have is possession of the drug and the cops assume they are selling it so they get charged for selling it too.
In Arizona marijuana is only permitted under certain circumstances, such as needing it for medical purposes. If you are caught with over two pounds of the drug you will be charged for possession. If you are charged with possession it is classified as a class six felony which is pretty serious on your resume, if you are charged more than once you have a chance to go to jail for just having the drug on you. The max amount of time in jail you can get for anything related to selling or having marijuana is 12.5 years for hash. A class one misdemeanor is the smallest fine you can get is 2,500 dollars, so you can just envision how much a class six felony could be. You do not need to be a resident of one of those eight states to purchase recreational marijuana, kinda like how you don't need to live in Mexico to be 18 and buy alcohol. You can't just start walking down the street and start smoking the weed though you have to be in a private area such as your home or in a marijuana bar where you can buy the weed and sit there and smoke it and buy it again such as a normal bar. You cannot drive while on any kind of marijuana any amount of it will be jail time. You also can't bring the marijuana you purchased in the state that it is legal in into a state that it is not
